The Canadian game development studio Worlds Untold is taking a break from its operations for now.

In a recent announcement on LinkedIn, the company shared that it’s on the lookout for a new partnership. Worlds Untold, which made its debut in November 2023, was led by the experienced BioWare veteran, Mac Walters. Initially, the studio was supported by the Chinese gaming giant NetEase. We’ve reached out to understand what changes might have occurred in this partnership.

“This wasn’t an easy decision for us—it’s been a very personal journey, and we’re immensely proud of everything our team has accomplished,” the company conveyed in their LinkedIn post.
