Updated on December 13: We’re thrilled to let you know that the Support Virtual Agent is now live for all players across the US after a successful testing phase with our Insiders. A big thank you to everyone who participated and contributed their feedback during the testing!
The Support Virtual Agent is an innovative tool fueled by AI to help Xbox enthusiasts swiftly tackle their gaming support issues. As it launches to a select group of Xbox Insiders today at support.xbox.com, this feature promises to streamline the support experience by pulling up precise information related to Xbox console and game support questions. If you’re an Xbox Insider in the US and have chosen English as your preferred language, you’re invited to start experimenting with the Support Virtual Agent when you visit support.xbox.com while logged into your registered Insider account.
We highly value the insights from our Xbox Insiders during this preview, and we’ll use all the feedback provided to refine the Support Virtual Agent. As you interact, you can easily share your thoughts using the "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" on each response, or directly via the "Give feedback" option at the page’s end.
How to Use Support Virtual Agent
Starting now, Xbox Insiders will find the Support Virtual Agent on the “Contact us” page of support.xbox.com. Sign in using the account linked to your Xbox Insider Program participation, and you’ll notice an option to engage with our new Support Virtual Agent.
Once you click “Ask a question,” the Support Virtual Agent will open in a fresh browser window. You can interact either by typing or speaking your questions. It will reply with relevant details fetched from support.xbox.com. And if it can’t resolve your issue right away, you’ll have the option to connect with a live support agent during normal operating hours.
During this trial period, you can even tailor your support experience. Simply click on the ellipsis menu icon to switch between two different Support Virtual Agents.
