This week is packed with exciting new releases for Xbox enthusiasts, and topping the list is South of Midnight from Compulsion Games. Though the Premium Edition has been available since April 3, players can now look forward to the Standard Edition, set to hit the shelves on April 8. The game will also make its debut on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, being a part of Xbox’s first-party lineup.
If you haven’t already, I recommend checking out my review of South of Midnight. I found it to be a captivating tale featuring a young hero named Hazel on a quest to save her mother. The game is rich in Southern Gothic elements and leaves a lasting impression, especially for those with an affinity for stories rooted in Southern culture.
