Nintendo is really stirring up excitement before Black Friday with some impressive discounts on Switch consoles. For a short time, you can grab the standard Switch for just $224.99 or the enhanced Switch OLED model for $274.99, both $75 off their usual price. This offer is part of a seasonal bundle that includes $79 worth of extras, such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a three-month subscription to Nintendo Switch Online. With this subscription, you can enjoy online multiplayer, safeguard your saved games with cloud storage, and access a selection of retro games. Plus, you get to use the Nintendo Music mobile app.
Historically, neither of these consoles has seen substantial price drops since they first hit the market. Retailer-specific promotions did pop up occasionally, but these deals often vanished quickly or came with strings attached, like requiring a Costco membership. Rather than slashing prices, Nintendo has typically bundled games or trial subscriptions with their consoles to enhance value. Now, for the first time, we’re seeing genuine price discounts without losing any bundled extras. Whether these deals will stick around after Cyber Monday is uncertain. However, as the Switch 2’s release in early 2025 approaches, we might see prices drop again.
In addition to these console savings, Nintendo is slashing prices on various gaming accessories and games. You can get $20 off their excellent, long-lasting Switch Pro wireless controller and the Joy-Con controllers. Some of the Switch’s best games are also at their lowest prices yet. There are just too many deals to mention in one go, so be sure to check out our curated list of top early Black Friday gaming deals, which we’ll be updating regularly in the lead-up to November 29.
