TinyBuild has made a significant move by selling its QA division, Red Cerberus, to the testing company TestFly. The transaction, valued at $1.5 million, involves an immediate cash payment upon completion of the deal.
Kevin Chelius, CEO of TestFly, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, “We’re excited to bring Red Cerberus into our fold. Their experience and industry stature fit seamlessly with our goals to redefine excellence in game testing. This venture not only enhances our ability to assist game developers and publishers in delivering top-notch gaming experiences worldwide but also bolsters our influence in the Latin American market.”
Meanwhile, Alex Nichiporchik, head of TinyBuild, provided insights on the decision, noting, “Selling Red Cerberus is key as we refine our focus on our primary strength: developing and expanding exceptional intellectual properties. Red Cerberus has been instrumental in our growth, and I’m grateful to the team for their hard work. By redistributing resources more strategically, we aim to boost our long-term revenue potential with new game releases. We are set on releasing promising titles by 2025 and are looking forward to the next chapter for TinyBuild.”
