Combat Waffle, the studio behind Ghosts of Tabor, is gearing up for the release of their new VR shooter, Silent North. This exciting multiplayer zombie survival game is set to hit Quest and Steam Early Access sometime in March.
Brought to you by Beyond Frames Entertainment, Silent North transports players to the breathtaking Swiss Alps. But don’t let the scenic views fool you—it’s a world filled with both relentless zombies and other players, all out for blood and loot. Here, survival means navigating the danger posed by these threats, and maybe even finding allies along the way, or embracing the solo path amid the chaos.
According to the developers, get ready for intense PVPVE action. "Players will face inevitable clashes with each other and the infected, whether in the mountains or the plains," the game description teases. Prepare for pulse-pounding shootouts to defend your life, or strategically stalk your foes to gain the upper hand in the wilderness. But beware—not everyone may reveal themselves as friend or foe right away.
Now available for pre-order on the Horizon Store, Silent North is priced at $17, marking a 15% discount from its full price of $20 at launch. Starting today, you’ll also find it on the Steam wishlist, where the launch will feature the same discount.
As excited as we are for the initial March release on Steam and the Horizon Store, the studio has yet to pinpoint an exact date for its arrival on additional VR platforms, including PSVR 2 and Pico headsets.
In their latest update on February 21st, 2024, the team assured fans that while they are aiming for a March release, they’re still finalizing the exact launch date. Keep your eyes peeled!
