Hey there! Just a heads-up, Konami has announced a special Silent Hill transmission that’s coming up later this week. They’ll be showcasing Silent Hill f, a title that reminds us it’s perfectly okay to ignore those pesky capital letters sometimes.
Recently, we got a taste of Silent Hill through the fantastic Silent Hill 2 Remake, a collaboration between Konami and Bloober Team. However, it’s been quite a while since we’ve had a fresh, mainline entry in the series. That’s exactly where Silent Hill f comes in, ready to fill that eerie gap.
This Silent Hill transmission is scheduled for March 13, at 10 PM GMT, translating to 3 PM PDT and 6 PM ET. Once it’s live, we’ll update this story with a link to the livestream, but you’ll likely be able to catch it on the official Silent Hill YouTube channel.
Now, what can you expect from this event? Konami has teased us, saying, “This Transmission will uncover SILENT HILL f.” Plus, the game’s director, Al Yang, added an extra hint of excitement, stating, “Excited to finally be able to share what we’ve been cooking.”
To jog your memory a bit, Silent Hill f was first introduced during a Silent Hill transmission back in 2022, alongside that shining Silent Hill 2 remake from Bloober. Neobards Entertainment is at the helm of development, with Ryukishi07, famed for the When They Cry visual novel series, penning the story.
Our very own Silent Hill aficionado, Kelsey, had some intriguing thoughts about that initial Silent Hill f teaser, mentioning it looked “rather fascinating and stylized,” complete with a spooky flower hat. So, if chilling and thrilling are your jam, be sure to tune into this showcase. You won’t want to miss this one!
Curious about what you’re hoping to see from Silent Hill f? We’d love to hear your thoughts, so drop a comment below!
