February is just around the corner and it brings with it a series of Xbox server closures that players need to be aware of. To help you organize your achievement-hunting schedule, we’ve put together a list of all the games set to lose their online support in February 2025.
Scheduled Xbox Server Closures for February 2025
Mark your calendars for these dates:
- Divine Knockout — February 17, 2025
- Realm Royale Reforged — February 17, 2025
- EA Sports UFC 3 — February 17, 2025
- Hood: Outlaws and Legends — February 18, 2025
- Dark Alliance — February 24, 2025
- The Golf Club — February 28, 2025
- The Golf Club 2 — February 28, 2025
- KartRider: Drift — February 28, 2025
- Disco Dodgeball Remix — February 28, 2025
Let’s explore what these closures mean for each game:
Divine Knockout
In October, Hi-Rez Studios revealed it was restructuring to focus resources on Smite 2, leading to the shutdowns of Divine Knockout and Realm Royale Reforged set for February 17, 2025. This means all 19 of Divine Knockout’s achievements will be unavailable soon. If you’re aiming for that 1,000 Gamerscore, you’ll need to carve out about eight hours of dedicated playtime.
Realm Royale Reforged
Realm Royale Reforged, another casualty of Hi-Rez Studios’ shift in focus, will lose its online functionalities on February 17, 2025. With 20 achievements on the line, players looking to snag the full 1,000 Gamerscore might want to dive into our comprehensive walkthrough, which suggests the journey takes roughly 15 hours.
EA Sports UFC 3
After providing five years of knockout action, EA Sports UFC 3 will bid farewell to its online community on February 17, 2025. This move will make 15 achievements inaccessible. Although it’s no longer available in the Microsoft Store, UFC fans with Game Pass Ultimate or EA Play subscriptions can still jump into the ring.
Hood: Outlaws and Legends
The online-only PvPvE game, Hood: Outlaws and Legends, will see its servers closed on February 18, 2025. This will render all 50 achievements unachievable. Hood has already left the Microsoft Store, making existing copies precious if you’re planning to complete this title, which demands about 80 hours of gameplay.
Dark Alliance
February 24, 2025, marks the end of the road for Dark Alliance’s online servers, which will affect four specific Xbox achievements. The game will also be delisted from the Xbox Store on the same day, so make sure to wrap up any unfinished business before it disappears.
The Golf Club
The Golf Club’s servers are set to close on February 28, 2025, part of an announcement made by HB Studios and 2K Sports last December. This will discontinue six online-only achievements. If you are keen to play, a physical copy might be your only option since it’s no longer available for digital purchase.
The Golf Club 2
Similarly, The Golf Club 2 will lose four online-only achievements once its servers go offline on February 28, 2025. It shares the fate of its predecessor, having been delisted from the Microsoft Store and requiring a physical copy for those yet to experience it.
KartRider: Drift
Nexon has announced the end of KartRider: Drift, with servers shutting down on February 28, 2025. Of its 28 achievements, 22 will be impacted by this closure. It has also been removed from the Xbox Store, so act fast if it’s on your list.
Disco Dodgeball Remix
Finally, Disco Dodgeball Remix will terminate online multiplayer support on February 28, 2025. Fortunately, there are no online-only achievements to lose, but take note that once it’s delisted, it will be gone for good, given it was never released physically.
Planning ahead can ensure you maximize your gaming goals before these titles fade into the digital ether. Happy achievement hunting!
