Palia Set to Launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S: Release Date Announced

Coming soon to both the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, Palia is set to release on May 13, 2025, and will coincide with the new Elderwood expansion. This cozy, free-to-play game has already captivated audiences on PC and Nintendo Switch, and is now expanding its reach to more gamers.

Palia, the first offering from Singularity 6, was announced back in 2021 and quickly generated excitement. The team, composed of industry veterans from Blizzard and Riot, has crafted a unique experience. Players dive into a world populated by the Majiri, a people who believed humans were a thing of the past. In Palia’s combat-free environment, players can engage in activities such as farming, crafting, and cooking. Since its launch, the game has seen 24 updates, with many more planned. The latest announcement will allow even more players to experience its charm.

According to the latest trailer, the Elderwood update will be the game’s most significant addition so far. It introduces a mysterious new zone complete with unfamiliar creatures and quests. Alongside the new console ports, the game will support cross-play, letting players across platforms collaborate seamlessly.
