Having one not only opens the door to the exciting My Nintendo rewards program, where you can earn points for buying eligible digital games from the Nintendo eShop, but you also gain points by using Nintendo apps on your mobile device or even just logging into Nintendo services like the eShop.

Keep in mind that in order to download demos from the Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo Switch, you need to have a registered Nintendo Account. Terms and conditions do apply.

If you want to purchase or download demos and free software from the Nintendo eShop through the official website, your Nintendo Account must be linked to your Nintendo Switch console. You’ll need to have your console set as the active device for downloads by visiting Nintendo eShop on it at least once. For seamless downloading, ensure your system is updated, connected to the internet with automatic downloads turned on, and has enough storage space.
