If you believe you’ve spent a significant amount of time playing Marvel Rivals, it’s time to rethink that notion. An avid gamer has truly taken things to the next level by amassing the highest achievement possible for nearly every hero in the game.
Enter TikTok user Alevik26, who left the community in awe after sharing a video showing off their impressive collection of 31 Lord icons. Not resting on their laurels, they quickly followed up with two more clips, pushing their count to 33.
Achieving Lord status with even a single hero demands countless matches and a deep understanding of the game’s mechanics. For instance, if you’re aiming to reach Lord with a Strategist like Invisible Woman, it’s not enough to just play—you need to excel at healing and use her subtle shields to absorb hefty amounts of damage. For most, reaching such heights would take several hundred hours.
Astonishingly, Alevik26 managed to pull this off within roughly 20 hours per hero. It certainly helps that they’re already a high-ranking player who frequently dives into Quick Matches and honed their skills in Overwatch. However, racking up more than 4,500 matches and surpassing 1,000 hours to achieve this feat speaks volumes about their dedication. To put it in perspective, Marvel Rivals has only been available for about 1,848 hours since its launch on December 5th.
In one of their video commentaries, they explained, “I set myself a goal to get Lord on every character. I do get bored a lot but I just push through.”
Interestingly, Spider-Man proved to be the most time-consuming, taking them 26 hours to conquer. Alevik26 has hinted at possibly sharing a guide with tips for achieving Lord status on the more challenging heroes. But first, they plan to tackle Starlord and Magik before turning their attention to the Thing and Human Torch, set for release with the forthcoming season 1.5 update on Thursday.
For those keen on tracking their progress, Alevik26’s achievements are documented on Tracker.gg, thanks to the game’s comprehensive API. As of now, they were last seen focusing on Starlord but have taken a break. Whether it’s their relentless determination or the fact that they do, indeed, pause occasionally that’s more surprising remains up for debate.
