Star Wars Celebration 2025 has turned into a paradise for collectors, with a host of exciting announcements coming from Hasbro’s latest panel. Fans are buzzing, not just because of the sneak peek at The Mandalorian figures, but for a whole array of fresh collectibles.
One of the big surprises is the comeback of Dash Rendar, a beloved character from the Expanded Universe. This notable reveal implies Hasbro’s ongoing interest in revisiting characters from the Legends storyline, much like they did with Jaina Solo and others from the Knights of the Old Republic series. Dash Rendar will join the ranks of the 6-inch Black Series figures.
In more thrilling news, fans of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor are in for a treat. We’re getting a Nightsister Merrin figure alongside a three-pack featuring Cal Kestis, Turgle, and Skoova Stev, all set for the Black Series collection. Meanwhile, in the 3.75-inch Vintage Collection, expect a brand new Merrin figure and a Rocket Launcher Trooper.
The showcase didn’t stop there. Hasbro unveiled Black Series figures of Han Solo and Chewbacca reflecting their iconic looks from Episode IV. Plus, collectors can look forward to a Vintage Collection playset complete with a Tusken Raider and a life-sized Bantha.
A special mention goes to the exclusive Celebration set from Star Wars: Visions, featuring The Ronin and his droid R5-D56. This premium set is a visual delight, packaged in a deluxe box adorned with watercolor illustrations and a slick slipcover. While exclusively available at the Celebration, there’s hope for the broader audience as Hasbro has a history of offering limited stocks online through the Hasbro Pulse website after events like these. Additionally, The Ronin figure is now available on Amazon.
All these figures, except The Ronin, are anticipated to hit shelves in Summer 2025, with preorders commencing on April 18 at noon Pacific Time.
Amidst all this toy excitement, there are whispers about Shawn Levy’s upcoming project, the Star Wars: Starfighter film, and lots of buzz around revelations from The Mandalorian and Grogu panel. There’s so much unfolding in the Star Wars universe this year, keeping fans on the edge of their seats.
