Normally, these bonus rewards give players access to extra styles and goodies not initially found in the standard battle pass. Securing all these treasures often demands players to hit a hefty total of 150 levels.

Despite the uproar concerning the cosmetics, the community has largely embraced several elements of the new chapter. Epic Games recently rolled out Chapter 6 Season 2, wowing players with intriguing changes to the map that offer fresh locales ripe for exploration. Many are thrilled with these new adventures and the revamped loot pool that’s spicing up gameplay. Weapons like the Kneecapper have captured much of the limelight, allowing players to charge at foes with a baseball bat, unleashing a flurry of strikes, and finally knocking adversaries away. The addition of skins such as Big Dill and Outlaw Midas into the battle pass has also been a crowd-pleaser.

They pointed out that unlocking the default style of the Pickle Chip glider requires reaching the sixth page of the bonus rewards—a long haul for many. While the Big Dill skin’s default version sits comfortably in the initial pass, fully unlocking it still requires reaching level 100. BuffWobbuffet argued that this setup seems a bit “ridiculous,” considering not everyone has the time to scale up 150 levels to nab it all.
