DodgeCraft is here to put your reflexes to the test with its fresh VR sports training experience, available now for both Quest and PlayStation VR2.
Hailing from INCISIV Ltd, a creative team based in Belfast that previously gave us CleanSheet Soccer, DodgeCraft introduces itself as a blend of high-speed action and the cleverness of deception. This game puts your agility front and center, challenging your ability to dodge and tackle through its various modes, as you can see in the trailer.
Currently, DodgeCraft offers two exciting gameplay modes. In ‘Dodge’Em’, you’re in for a full-body workout as you navigate through an asteroid field, dodging meteorites with quick movements and swift dodging. Meanwhile, ‘Run the Gauntlet’ pits you against waves of robots and human-like opponents, all employing sneaky tactics to try and slip past you. There’s even mixed reality support to enhance the experience!
Professor Cathy Craig, CEO of INCISIV, shared in a statement that DodgeCraft was born from her personal experiences on the field. Recalling her time as an Ulster Rugby out-half, she often found it challenging to commit to tackles.
“As a player, I would often hold back and not make the hit. DodgeCraft provides an opportunity to sharpen your anticipation and decision-making skills as a defender, all without the worry of getting injured. In short, it’s training without the pain!”
Today, you can hop into the action on both the Meta Quest platform and PlayStation VR2.
