The sci-fi role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 has reached an impressive milestone, having sold over 30 million copies. This remarkable achievement was highlighted by CD Projekt’s chief financial officer, Piotr Nielubowicz, as reported by VGC. In addition to the main game, the Phantom Liberty expansion has also seen significant success, with more than eight million copies sold so far.
Looking ahead, Cyberpunk 2077 is set to make its debut on Mac devices soon. Fans of the franchise can also look forward to a fresh animation project within the Cyberpunk universe that is currently in development.
Nielubowicz expressed his excitement, saying, “I have some great news from Night City. We’ve surpassed 30 million copies in sales for Cyberpunk 2077, and the Phantom Liberty expansion has reached eight million units sold. These numbers are not just statistics—they showcase the vast community of enthusiasts and the growing intrigue around the Cyberpunk universe.”
He further remarked, “This success is particularly meaningful as we have announced plans to bring the game and its expansion to Mac devices equipped with Apple Silicon chips next year.
