EdEN recently had the opportunity to dive into the world of “The Tale of Bistun,” an action-adventure game developed by Black Cube Games in collaboration with IMGN.PRO, and influenced by a 12th-century poem.
In our review snippet, we explore this remarkable game, which draws inspiration from “Khosrow and Shirin,” a poignant tragic romance penned by Persian poet Nizami Ganjavi. In this tale, the player assumes the role of a stone carver who, having lost his memory, embarks on a journey up the mythical Mount Bistun. This venture is far from straightforward; it’s filled with challenges and hordes of monsters wanting to overpower you if you’re not vigilant. Fortunately, you aren’t without defense. Your character is equipped with formidable magical abilities alongside some serious melee power, making combat both thrilling and rewarding. Accompanied by a narrator, your quest becomes a vivid narrative adventure, breathing life into each moment and character you encounter.
Feeling lucky? This is your chance to nab a FREE digital copy of “The Tale of Bistun” for either PlayStation 5 or the Switch! But don’t delay—the giveaway wraps up on March 21, 2025, at midnight (PST).
