Last week, “RuneScape: Dragonwilds” made an impressive entrance on Steam as it claimed the position of the second highest-earning game on the platform. Having launched on April 15th, the game quickly attracted a peak of 52,641 players simultaneously, according to SteamDB figures. This title marks a fresh offering from Jagex and has been gaining traction among gamers.
While “Counter-Strike 2” retained its status as the top-grossing game of the week, “Schedule 1” dropped to the third spot following the strong debut of “RuneScape: Dragonwilds.” The popular handheld gaming device, Steam Deck, held steady in fourth place.
Meanwhile, the action RPG “Last Epoch” made a notable return to the top ten, moving up 76 spots to secure the fifth position. This boost in popularity was largely due to the release of its latest season of content. “REPO,” a co-op horror adventure, maintained its grip on the sixth slot.
“Marvel Rivals” experienced a slight decline, falling to the seventh spot. On the other hand, Larian Studios’ “Baldur’s Gate 3” climbed a position, helped by its ongoing discount on Steam.
The spiritual successor to “Command and Conquer,” “Tempest Rising,” made its first appearance at the tenth spot, despite encountering some technical challenges during its launch.
