Almost a year has gone by since Asgard’s Wrath 2 made its debut, and now the game is diving into its final new Cosmic Event, tackling the mischievous aftermath left by Loki. This VR action RPG from Sanzaru Games, which launched last December, has kept players on their toes with a series of Cosmic Events. These limited-time challenges, known as Cosmic Objectives, have seen us dealing with everything from a vampiric plague to the havoc caused by Surtur’s forces. In this concluding chapter, aptly named ‘The Trickster’s Legacy,’ you’re once more squaring off against Loki.
In this event, your mission is to mend these warped realities. You’ll find yourself venturing through ‘?’ doors in the Uncharted Rifts, navigating perilous trap rooms, and tackling five divine trials during a single Uncharted Rift expedition. Plus, you’ll need to clear out Loki Anomalies scattered across the overworld. Successfully completing these tasks will reward you with the Staff of the Trickster, replica Ma’at Stones, Loki’s iconic horned helmet, and an array of emotes, badges, and titles.
Even though this is the last brand-new event, it doesn’t signal the end of Cosmic Events altogether. Sanzaru Games has announced that they are bringing back all past Cosmic Events, beginning with Into the Multiverse. This means players will get another shot at snagging those exclusive rewards they may have missed the first time around.
On another note, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is introducing a fresh outfit that’s not bound by time like the rewards from The Trickster’s Legacy. If you’re subscribed to Meta Quest+, you’re in for a treat with this special dinosaur-themed armor from the island of Laramidia, complete with a matching stone blade weapon.
Asgard’s Wrath 2 is currently up for grabs on the Meta Quest platform, inviting more players to dive into its immersive world.
