Nintendo has rolled out a fresh app for smart devices called Nintendo Today. Think of it as a daily planner but packed with all things Nintendo. Each day, users can look forward to new content, featuring the latest updates, videos, and comics from popular Nintendo franchises.
Following the highly anticipated Nintendo Direct event, scheduled for Wednesday, April 2nd, fans can access all the information they need about the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 directly through this app.
Shigeru Miyamoto shared some insights: “Since kicking off in 2011, Nintendo Direct has consistently brought news straight to fans. These presentations have become a highlight for many, and we’re truly grateful for the support. While we’ll keep broadcasting Nintendo Direct, we’re also throwing something new into the mix. Meet Nintendo Today!, our smart device app that acts like a daily calendar. It’ll feature various Nintendo events and daily content about our games and characters.”
Post-Nintendo Direct, the app will become a daily go-to for news on the latest Nintendo Switch 2, offering updates ‘straight from the source.’
Here are some standout features of the app:
-
