PS5 Pro gamers are in for a treat with the upcoming RPG that promises "stunning visual fidelity," courtesy of the PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) tech. And the game taking advantage of this technological marvel is none other than Capcom’s eagerly awaited Monster Hunter Wilds, slated for release on February 28.
Monster Hunter Wilds is the Latest RPG Joining the PS5 Pro Lineup
Monster Hunter Wilds is the newest addition to the roster of major AAA titles debuting with PS5 Pro support. Capcom has assured players that the game will deliver enhanced visuals without sacrificing performance, although they caution that frame rates might dip during periods of high system load.
Here’s what you can expect with PS5 Pro-specific enhancements:
- Prioritize Resolution: Experience ray tracing with an output and rendering resolution of 3840 x 2160 and 3072 x 1728, at a frame rate of 30 fps.
- Balanced: Enjoy ray tracing, with output and rendering resolution at 3840 x 2160 and 2496 x 1404, while running at 40 fps.
- Prioritize Frame Rate: For those who prefer smoother gameplay, this option disables ray tracing and provides an output and rendering resolution of 3840 x 2160 and 1920 x 1080, achieving 60 fps.
Don’t forget, Monster Hunter Wilds will be available for another free beta trial starting later today and running until Sunday evening, February 9. You can snag the beta and add it to your library right now through the PS Store.
