Get ready for another exciting edition of the VR Games Showcase this March. The organizers are promising their “biggest line-up yet” of XR games, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
While we don’t have all the details just yet, including the exact date for the online event, the organizers have hinted on social platforms that more information will be coming our way soon. It’s this anticipation and build-up that keeps the community buzzing every year.
Like previous showcases, we’re eager to find out which game studios will be participating. This information will no doubt give us clues about the kinds of games we’ll see. You can count on the lineup featuring plenty of Quest games, along with titles for PSVR 2 and PC VR.
Reflecting on last year’s showcase, it was quite a spectacle with a flurry of game announcements and updates. We saw gameplay reveals for games like HITMAN III: Reloaded, Vertigo Games’ Arizona Sunshine Remake, and Fast Travel Games’ Action Hero. Exciting trailers for the survival game GRIM also made the rounds. All this came from seven different studios showcasing over 15 titles.
Just a month later, the event hosted another incredible showcase: ‘XR Indies and Friends.’ This installment included fresh details on Innerspace VR’s One True Path, gameplay from Cyborn’s MR adventure Wall Town Wonders, a VR adaptation trailer for Ovid Works’ Kafka-inspired Metamorphosis, and fun gameplay footage from Just Add Water’s arcade digging sim, DIG VR.
While we wait in anticipation, we’ll be keeping a close watch on the VR Games Showcase YouTube channel, where the event will be livestreamed. Keep your eyes peeled for any announcements as March draws near.
